Village is an early stage startup with a mission to help moms and dads everywhere live simpler, happier lives. Why? Because parenting is hard work. You go into it with little or no training and the stakes are really high. Worst of all, there's no singular place to find tried-and-true wisdom to help you make decisions about where to spend your time, money and energy. Village is a knowledge marketplace for parents. We're building a platform to aggregate, organize and personalize parenting wisdom for families everywhere. Our mobile app allows users to submit questions, which are then directed to moms and dads in similar stages of life, so every answer is empathetic and relevant. For tougher questions, Village has a growing network of psychiatrists, nutritionists and sleep consultants to provide expert advice. Content aggregated through the app is organized into our proprietary knowledge graph, which produces highly personalized semantic search results to future users. Since publicly launching our mobile app in July of 2015, we've attracted a highly engaged network of "Villagers" with many coming to the app every day.
