The Youth Newspaper (YN) was established in September 1975 in HCM City Vietnam, as a weekly with the initial circulation of about 10,000 copies. Now YN, with 500,000 copies per day, is one of the most popular daily newspapers in Vietnam which serving avid readers around the country. As the forum of Youth, YN has been actively supporting the Open Door policy from its very beginning, and it has become one of the products of the Doi Moi (innovation) undertaking. YN dedicated itself to a market economy, a full life and further integration of Vietnam into the world's community. We at YN have put all of our efforts into safeguarding the public's right to know. The paper has offered itself as a broad tribune gathering all creative ideas to foster the cause of reconstructing Vietnam, to protect the truth, and to build a fair and just society. The YN newsroom includes four various publications, namely a YN online, a daily paper, a Sunday magazine and a comics magazine (the first and only comics bi-monthly in Vietnam), YN now provides “the food for thought” of different generations. In 1983, YN was the first newspaper which stood up on its own without government subsidies, thereby opening a new chapter in the paper's history. So far it has been developing on its own capital. Its net income has been steadily risen, and the bulk of its revenue now comes from sales (advertising generates 55% of the profits). YN is also a group of business subsidiaries which comprises printing, distribution, advertising and real estate, building and sub-unit construction. YN's motto is to “bring the latest news to readers” with focus on education and culture, business, economic reforms, social welfare as well as other matters such as health, environmental issues, unemployment, urban development and life styles.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
