The United States Military Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization founded in August of 2011. It was founded for the sole purpose of preserving the honor, integrity, sacrifice, and accomplishments of those who have dedicated themselves to the United States of America. It is dedicated to showing the world the lengths that our military men and women will go to in order to protect our core belief, freedom. We here at the United States Military Hall of Fame are dedicated to making sure that every man, woman, and child know the names, faces, and stories of those who dedicate their lives to their fellow citizens, country, and brothers in arms. It is time for us, as American citizens, to do our duty, and let these men and women know their sacrifice is not in vain. It is time we show them that we will do our best to ease the pain of that sacrifice, to support them when they have not the strength to support themselves, to cheer for them in their victories, cry for them in their losses, but most of all it is up to us to make sure that our heroes know come what may, come what might, you will never be forgotten. For there is no greater enemy to a hero than that of time. We here at the United States Military Hall of Fame will show our troops our resolve in the fight against time, will you?

Description

ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-9 and 6.9.13-34, there is a vulnerability in ImageMagick’s Magick++ layer that manifests when Options::fontFamily is invoked with an empty string. Clearing a font family calls RelinquishMagickMemory on _drawInfo->font, freeing the font string but leaving _drawInfo->font pointing to freed memory while _drawInfo->family is set to that (now-invalid) pointer. Any later cleanup or reuse of _drawInfo->font re-frees or dereferences dangling memory. DestroyDrawInfo and other setters (Options::font, Image::font) assume _drawInfo->font remains valid, so destruction or subsequent updates trigger crashes or heap corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.2-9 and 6.9.13-34.
