Founded in 1911, P.A. Hutchison began with a small black & white letterpress shop. It has since grown to a high-tech printing company serving customers throughout the United States. Under the guidance of four generations of Hutchisons, we have become a mid-sized book manufacturer whose expansion is continuing and has received industry acknowledgement through American Printer's Top 50 Fastest Growing Printer Awards and Printing Impressions Top 400 Rankings. We are located in a suburb of Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 2011, The P. A. Hutchison Company reached a huge milestone - our centennial year. Over one hundred years of printing and book manufacturing is no small feat. We are continually looking for ways to grow into our second century. When Philip Alvord Hutchison first formed his company in 1911, the space was small, but his ambitions were large. There were only a few machines in the print shop, but hard work and smart decisions soon led him to prosper. Now, with Chris Hutchison as the fourth generation to lead the company, we're ready to embark on another 100 year journey. We're focused on the fast-changing needs of the book manufacturing market, and we continue to evaluate technology options and acquire the new equipment that will allow us to stay on top of our customers' needs.
