Established 2013 The Outkast Academy is a 501 C3 Non-Profit Organization and Dance Company. We emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support youth of the inner city community through our programs, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. We know that impactful change occurs when action is taken to help those in need, which is why we made it our mission to reach the youth of underserved communities. The challenges our youth are facing today require leaders that ignite purpose and build up our young people to reach their highest potential. We are those leaders driven by creative innovation, positive reinforcement, and a strong foundation of support. The Outkast Academy is here to build a brighter future one youth at a time.

The New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals) is a nonprofit theatre company founded in 1983 by artistic director Jack Stehlin. At the age of 28, Circus Theatricals announced our name change to The New American Theatre. The New American Theatre represents an evolution in our vision for the future of our theatre company, and the American theatre-at-large. We are rededicating our exploration and support of new and challenging work in the American Theatre. We are dedicated to the support and growth of all artists who participate in the collective imagination that is theatre. With associate actors, directors, playwrights, designers, and administrators, we collaborate and perform in main stage productions, lab productions and workshops, as well as participate in weekly studios. The New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals) has enjoyed critical acclaim, awards and nominations from the Los Angeles Times, LA Drama Critics Circle, Back Stage West, LA Weekly, LA Stage Alliance Ovations, and Dramalogue.
