Initially founded by three teachers, our main goal was to enhance the English education of elementary school children. By creating new fantasy stories with stunning illustrations, we wanted children to be excited to read as a hobby instead of work. We are a creative team, working on our first fantasy series for young readers, Legends of Agria. Because we are fortunate enough to work in the education field, we are afforded a unique opportunity to see what excites our students and makes them want to read more. Seeing their eyes light up when they truly enjoy a book made us want to give something more to them than just a way of interpreting the stories. They made us want to create something for them so they will keep on discovering literature on their own. After many fun afternoons debating and discussing what that world would be like, Agria was born.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
