Developing new talent: giving performance opportunities and training to help develop emerging young professional singers, accompanists, directors and designers through the Mildred Miller International Voice Competition and the Young Professional Artist Program. Education and outreach: serving younger communities year-round with programs for pre-K through grade 12. New works: commissioning new music dramas, short comic music dramas and vignettes exploring themes of real contemporary interest and importance; keeping opera alive, relevant and entertaining now and for the future.
