Everyone needs an education. For those growing up in rural or remote Australia, getting an education is tough. It's tough on the kids, and tough on the families. These families face real issues such as social isolation, connectivity constraints & massive physical separation from their peers, teachers and teaching resources. These keys issues can also spill over into challenges in mental health, social & emotional well-being, & boarding school blues to name a few. Horses for Courses for Bush Kids was birthed in Sep 2016 by passionate horsewoman Ms. Tiani Cook to respond to these challenges, by raising awareness, and much needed funds to help those struggling to get an education whilst living in rural or remote Australia. Since it's inception, Horses for Courses runs an annual charity fundraising ride in Northern Territory to raise awareness and much needed funds. This ride is open to people of all ages, but especially kids who would benefit from the social interaction with other like minded individuals who love horses, the great outdoors, and camping under the stars in the world's most amazing country, Australia.
