The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia is a 33-member professional music ensemble led by Music Director Dirk Brossé. We are a sustainable musical institution that brings the intimate experience of world-class small orchestral performance to the Greater Philadelphia area, enriching the musical life of the City and region through the excellence of our musicianship, the boldness and vitality of our programming, and by cultivating the loyalty of our audiences, musicians and supporters. We concentrate on repertoire from the Baroque and Classical periods through the twenty-first century. We are a founding resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and perform an annual subscription series of concerts in the Center’s intimate 600-seat Perelman Theater.
