Strength United
Operating through California State University Northridge’s (CSUN) Michael D. Eisner College of Education, Strength United provides a unique interdisciplinary approach to ending abuse and violence through the collaboration of mental health professionals, educators, researchers, students and volunteers. We provide services to individuals of all ages who have experienced child abuse, domestic and or sexual violence during their lifetime. Services include: 24-Hour Support Line and Crisis Response Individual, Group, and Family Counseling Domestic and Sexual Violence Support Groups Parent Education Groups Adoptive Parent Support Groups Case Management, Advocacy, and Linkages to Referrals Victim advocacy, including support during medical exams, police interviews, and court hearings Community outreach and prevention education Human trafficking prevention and intervention training Youth leadership development to promote healthy relationships Campus sexual violence peer education For more information, call our 24-Hour Support and Referral Lines 818-886-0453 661-253-0258 If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
