Swissnex in China is an initiative of Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), managed in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs. Working together with the Science, Education, and Technology Section in the Embassy of Switzerland in China and regional consulates in Shanghai and Guangzhou, we connect Switzerland and China in science, education, and innovation. Our mission is to support the outreach and active engagement of our partners in the global exchange of knowledge, ideas, and talent. By crossing conventional boundaries, we offer a platform to foster collaboration and creativity for inspiring research and ground-breaking innovation. Our activities are based on a collaborative approach, relying on public and private partnerships and funding. About Swissnex Swissnex is the Swiss global network connecting the dots in education, research, and innovation. The five Swissnex locations (Bangalore, Boston, Shanghai, San Fransico, Rio de Janerio) and their outposts are established in the world’s most innovative hubs. Together with around twenty Science and Technology Offices (STO) and Counselors (STC) based in Swiss Embassies, the network contributes to strengthening Switzerland’s profile as a world-leading innovation hotspot.
