Small Business Association of Australia
The Small Business Association of Australia (SBAA) provides the support, advice, opportunities, and advocacy that micro, small, and medium-sized businesses need to thrive in today’s economy. As the voice of MSMEs, the SBAA advocates for their rights and ensures that key issues are brought to the attention of Federal and State Governments, Regulators, and Authorities. In addition to this important advocacy work, the SBAA offers its Members access to a wide range of high-quality programs, services, technology, and educational resources, giving them the best chance to succeed. With over 2.2 million micro and small businesses actively trading today, they make up around 97% of all businesses in Australia**. This means the strength of our economy is closely tied to the health of our MSMEs. For MSMEs to thrive, they need not only tailored, one-on-one support to foster their growth, but also a powerful, unified voice in Government to represent their interests. The SBAA is proud to be that voice. We work with Government, relevant departments, and authorities to advance our mission: creating a business environment that nurtures entrepreneurship and provides the conditions for MSMEs to grow and prosper.
