Sienna DeGovia Food Stylist
I have ten years of experience in all aspects of Food Styling for Print, Television, Film and Commercials. I was born and raised in Hollywood California. My Mother comes from a long line of fierce Italian cooks and my Father is a production designer with an artistic eye to beat the devil. Early on I intuited a deep connection between sustenance and aesthetics that evolved into a full-blown obsession. This fascination led me to attend California College of the Arts where I earned a BFA in sculpture. At CCA I created works that explored the edible object as a means for evoking an emotional response. I have applied this passion to my commercial work as a food stylist for editorial and advertising print, film, and commercial spots. I believe that both my work as a fine artist and a commercial food stylist inform and benefit each other as my knowledge and skill sets continue to grow and evolve.
