Culture is back and Short Edition has taken the world by storm by inventing and creating Short Story Dispensers, bringing to life community-based literature with the aim to poetically kill wait time in urban spaces. We are French publishers by trade and seek to unveil independent literature to the modern, on-the-go world on an international scale. Come visit us at CES in Vegas! (Booth: Sands, Hall G - 51041, Eureka Park Marketplace) where we will receive the award for 'Tech for a Better World'. We use technology to serve as a means to disseminate literature in an artistic way. Lets Build a poetic world together! Latest news (January 2018) : Short Edition raised 2 million euros to accelerate its international development in November 2017. New investors have joined the French publisher of community-based literature from various origins: publishing, advertising and finance. Among them is the infamous American film director Francis Ford Coppola.* Most people do not know that Mr. Coppola has published the “Zoetrope: All-Story" magazine for over 20 years, devoted to nothing other than....short stories. Short Edition designed and created the Short Story Dispenser and is responding to growing international interest for their innovation, in the US in particular, by developing its literary platform in English and installing its dispensers throughout North America. With already 6 North American flagship clients, whose customers have been charmed by the concept, the company has a solid base for expansion: universities and school districts (Penn State University and Columbus City Schools), commercial property managers (Boston Properties and Irvine Company in California) and cities engaged in a "smart city" approach (West Palm Beach, Edmonton International Airport in Canada). Short Edition at CES 2018 in Las Vegas Short Edition is among the 270 French Tech start-ups attending the 2018 Las Vegas Consumer Electronic Show from January 7-12, dedicated this year to the ‘Smart City’. Short Edition will receive, for the Short Story Dispenser, an Innovation Award in the category ‘Tech for a Better World’. Leading Smart Cities of tomorrow hope to become as poetic as short stories on papyrus, as a way to not lose their soul with multiple technological innovations. Technology is hereby serving as the means to disseminate literature, allowing access for all to reading and writing, thus re-enchanting the city. This is a strong innovation for any city that wants to help its citizens kill wait time and encourage reading by placing connected short story dispensers everywhere in urban spaces. The stories can be read and shared on the spot, in the bus, tram, subway or at home. Let's build a poetic world together!

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
