River City’s mission is to provide individuals with effective mental health services in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment. In everything we do, we promise caring and compassion, dignity and respect, responsiveness and courtesy; we will strive for excellence, innovation, flexibility, integrity and teamwork. Founded in 2009, River City services have grown to encompass Mental Health Skill-Building Services; Intensive In-Home Counseling; Crisis Stabilization Services; Outpatient Services and group counseling and the Veteran’s Employment Program, a federally funded grant through the Department of Labor. With a staff of approximately 90, River City is well equipped to meet client’s needs. Each River City employee is required to meet certain standards and certifications which include a thorough background check, First Aid, CPR and Crisis Wave (a state approved restraint process). All staff meet educational and state standards for the work they do in the field. All program directors are master level clinicians with many currently under supervision to become licensed clinicians. River City also employees licensed social workers and professional counselors who are responsible for staff supervision, leading groups and providing counseling services. River City is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and has been awarded a triennial license, the gold standard in state awarded mental health licenses. River City was recently ranked 1st in the Healthcare & Biotechnology industry category and 13th overall on the 2014 Inner City 100 list of fastest-growing inner city businesses in the U.S. in Fortune Magazine (see article here). In December 2014, River City became a Certified B Corporation through the nonprofit B Lab. This nationally recognized designation is awarded to companies that have demonstrated a higher standard of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Our services reach all ages from early childhood to geriatric care and for the most part is hugely responsible for helping clients remain in their home and avoid placement in a higher level of care, such as residential placement or hospitalization. Without case management services, many, if not most, of the clients being seen would not be able to maintain the "normalcy" of daily living.

The issue occurs because the `--commit-hash` parameter is passed directly to a shell command without proper validation or sanitization, allowing an attacker with control of `--commit-hash` to execute arbitrary commands on the system running Wrangler.
