Although Richardson Seating was founded in 1975, Richardson Seating's family history and product line goes back further. Our grandfather Harry Richardson founded a similar company,, Carroll Chair with his father Joe right before WWII. Harry went off to war and shut the business down. Harry Richardson, eventually returned from active duty to his hometown of Chicago, IL. Around 1950 Harry started Carroll Chair back up making furniture. Harry and Joe recruited Harry's brother Reuben to work at the family’s bar stool and chair manufacturing company. They called the company Carroll Chair because the factory was located on Carroll St in Chicago. According to Harry's daughter, the address was 1504 W Carroll St. If someone knows for sure, please contact us. Carroll Chair specialized in manufacturing and wholesaling commercial chairs and commercial bar stools for the food service industry. Harry sold Carroll Chair in 1973 with plans of retiring. Carroll Chair eventually moved out of state and many years later was purchased by Mity-Lite A few years after selling Carroll, Harry opened a new commercial furniture manufacturing company with his son in law Earl Lichtenstein. Harry named this factory Richardson Seating.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
