RADA's mission is to help low and moderate income individuals, families, and neighborhoods in the City of Raleigh to improve their quality of life through the attainment of economic stability. We pursue this mission by providing comprehensive education services, information and long-term support. Our programs are designed to help create mortgage-ready buyers, reduce mortgage delinquencies, help homeowners avoid foreclosure, and make financial education accessible to as many individuals as possible. RADA is a partner counseling agency with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, working to help prevent foreclosures in North Carolina through the North Carolina Foreclosure Prevention Fund and the Federal Government's Making Home Affordable Program. RADA has been designated a HUD Housing Counseling Agency by the U S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and, an Emerging Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Financial support for RADA’s programs is provided by the City of Raleigh, local banks, corporations, foundations, state, and federal agencies.
