Our mission is to Enrich, Educate and Entertain our communities through the power of music. Since its inception in 1932, the Racine Symphony Orchestra (RSO) has been a pivotal contributor to the cultural richness of the entire Racine community. Composed of paid musicians selected through audition and lead by our Conductor and Artistic Director, world-class violinist Pasquale Laurino, the RSO enriches the lives of thousands of individuals, young and old, rich and poor, throughout Racine County. Specifically, the RSO performs three pops concerts, three Masterworks classical concerts and five educational programs, two of which are free, each season. Validating the RSO’s positive community impact, it is proudly supported by individual donors, small businesses, corporate sponsors and fellow nonprofit organizations, all contributing to the organization’s secure financial foundation.

Tecumseh Center for the Arts

400 N. Maumee Street, Tecumseh, Michigan, 49286, US
Last Update: 2025-12-09
Between 750 and 799

The Tecumseh Center for the Arts was an anonymous gift to our community in 1981. The house seats 572 guests, and no matter where you sit, you have a full view of the stage. Of course our "old timers" have their favorite seats, but will also comment that there is not a bad seat in the house. Throughout the years the TCA has been host to such greats as the "Artie Shaw Orchestra," "Peter Nero," "The Amazing Kreskin," " The Toledo Symphony," "Chinese Golden Acrobats," "The National Theatre of the Deaf," "The National Shakespeare Company," "Feld Ballet NY," "Count Basie," "Glenn Miller Orchestra," "The Chenille Sisters," National touring companies of, "Driving Miss Daisy," "A Christmas Carol," "1940's Radio Hour," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat," "Nunsense," "Steele Magnolias," and many more too numerous to mention. Many local groups have used the TCA as their home performing venue. The Tecumseh Players, Tecumseh Youth Theatre, Tecumseh Dance Workshop, Tecumseh Pops Orchestra and Community Chorus, and the Tecumseh Public Schools are just a few of the organizations to call the Tecumseh Center for the Arts "home." Thousands of performers, patrons, and even a few miscellaneous animals have contributed to the success of the TCA over the years. A big thank you from the staff of the TCA to all those past, present, and future participants.
