Fellows Media produces intelligent, creative content for brands, and has done for over 25 years. In the beginning, most of our output was for print, but within a few years we had successfully broadened our services to include digital and broadcast. Advertising sales is a natural partner, and has been a core part of our business for the past fifteen years – we are always looking for new, inventive ways to monetise content. Fellows Media is an independent, profitable company that draws on in-house expertise to deliver powerful solutions to our clients. This enables us to keep a close eye on quality and budget, and it means that we quickly build close, meaningful relationships with our clients. Much has changed during the past 25 years but enticing audiences with wonderful content that engages, entertains and informs is still at the heart of everything that we do.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
