We’re all about great storytelling and books that matter. We’re also a social purpose business that funds not-for-profits and charities to close the literacy gap and encourage a reading culture. We believe literacy is the first step to changing the world. Most importantly, we’re committed to nurturing undiscovered, emerging and established Australian writers and genuinely invested in the long-term success of our authors and their books.

We’re not cutting emissions fast enough. So, in the run-up to COP26 in Glasgow, Tortoise is running a programme of ThinkIns and journalism devoted to a single cause: Accelerating Net Zero. We’re doing this with our members and partners, and with industry leaders and policymakers who’ll be part of the COP debate in November. And we’ll bring to bear knowledge and data from the Tortoise Responsibility 100 Index, which measures the gap between “talk” and “walk” for some of the biggest companies on earth. By the time we get to Glasgow, we’ll have an agenda with a difference – one that tells us in numbers, as well as words, what net zero really means. Let’s go faster.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.

The vulnerability requires ExperimentalEnableAuthenticationTransfer to be enabled (default: enabled) and RequireEmailVerification to be disabled (default: disabled).
