Nutcracker Publishing originated to publish a children’s book about cancer. It was during a period when talking about cancer to young children was considered unconventional, and mainstream publishing houses expressed concern there was not a large market for a book targeting young children whose Mother had cancer. As one local bookstore owner said, “no parent would want to read a book about it, unless they had too.” Within it’s first year the Nutcracker Publishing Company amazed its skeptics and secured a national reputation for its ability to turn public relations disasters into sales and marketing opportunities when "Tickles Tabitha’s Cancer-tankerous Mommy " was introduced on the Rosie O Donnell Show amidst the threat of Anthrax, which shut down O Donnell’s New York studio. Today the book iis recognized as recommended reading for families coping with cancer by literary and health care professionals across the country. Nutcracker Publishing also originated --Crack Open A Book! Community outreach, school and educational programs promoting cancer awareness, featuring the “Tickles Tabitha” character.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
