We will work together to heal, empower, and celebrate your life by applying integrative therapy approaches and techniques. Dr. Sonya Clyburn is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Maryland. Dr. Clyburn brings over 15 years of professional experience in the mental health field. She is a certified trainer, consultant, evaluator, life coach, and psychological evaluations are in her repertoire. She is an adjunct professor at Morgan State University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her clinical interests includes trauma, cultural identity, sexual identity, attachment, grief and loss, depression, anger management, conflict education, leadership development and group processes – mimesis. Dr. Clyburn has worked clinically in varied settings including counseling centers, community mental health, hospitals, group home, and Court Systems. She believes that everyone has a purpose in life and that behavior is purposeful. Her passion is the practice of psychology by assisting others with understanding themselves, purposes of their responses, and developing a better sense of well-being.
