Nate Ryan - Photographer / Director
Nate is a Minnesota-based photographer who brings an editorial photography background to commercial work. He has been the staff photographer at Minnesota Public Radio's The Current for six years, where he regularly photographs musicians from around the world. His musician portraits have won awards in American Photography, and multiple times in Communication Arts Photo Annual. As an editorial photographer, he's done assignments for The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, and Smithsonian Magazine. Nate also brings his editorial approach to his active lifestyle work. Frequently working with real people, Nate draws on their personal experiences for clients like Specialized Bikes, Lululemon, Life Time Fitness, Labatt Blue and others. Last year he led Minnesota United soccer team’s pre-season still photography in their first year in the MLS, capturing all the players and many super fans.
