Le Vision Pictures is one of the largest and most successful film companies in China. Founded in 2011 and affiliated to China’s tech giant LeTV (SHE 300104), it has positioned itself as a “film studio in the digital age”, and is global in scope with offices in Beijing, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. This includes the box office sensation "Tiny Times 1&2". As a result, Le Vision joined the ranks of the top 3 Chinese private film companies. 2014 saw the release of 13 films. The total gross was $390M - a 130% jump from previous year. Several box office records were also set by such hits as "Tiny Times 3", "Coming Home", "Boonie Bears" and "The Expendables 3". As part of its global strategy, Le Vision has begun collaboration with Hollywood studios. In July 2014, it launched a $200M fund geared towards making tentpole films for the global marketplace. The first is the $135M “Great Wall” starring Matt Damon. Helmed by the acclaimed Chinese director Zhang Yimou and co-invested/produced by Le Vision, Legendary and Universal. The film is currently in production and will be released worldwide in November 2016. Besides Zhang Yimou, Le Vision has signed first look deals with other top-tier directors such as Tsui Hark, Lu Chuan and Guo Jingming. It is rumored that some top Hollywood talent might soon join Le Vision as well.

Description

Versa SASE Client for Windows versions released between 7.8.7 and 7.9.4 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the audit log export functionality. The client communicates user-controlled file paths to a privileged service, which performs file system operations without impersonating the requesting user. Due to improper privilege handling and a time-of-check time-of-use race condition combined with symbolic link and mount point manipulation, a local authenticated attacker can coerce the service into deleting arbitrary directories with SYSTEM privileges. This can be exploited to delete protected system folders such as C:\\Config.msi and subsequently achieve execution as NT AUTHORITY\\SYSTEM via MSI rollback techniques.

The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.11.0 via the ajax_get_members function. This is due to the use of a predictable low-entropy token (5 hex characters derived from md5 of post ID) to identify member directories and insufficient authorization checks on the unauthenticated AJAX endpoint. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including usernames, display names, user roles (including administrator accounts), profile URLs, and user IDs by enumerating predictable directory_id values or brute-forcing the small 16^5 token space.
