We do not consider works which contain excessive profanity, sexual content, or violence. Manuscripts which are not professionally formatted will remain unread. Submit to [email protected]. Indicate the category you are submitting to in the subject line. For text submissions attach your piece as a .doc, .docx, or .rtf file. Cover letters are encouraged but not required. Each issue features at least one writer and one artist who have never been previously published. Please let us know if you fall under this category. We acquire first North American serial rights upon acceptance and reserve the right to publish your piece in a future print edition. Our editors make a sincere effort to respond to all submissions within six weeks. Simultaneous submissions are accepted in all categories, but please be courteous enough to notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. We ask that you wait until you have received a response before submitting additional material. Fiction and creative nonfiction: One piece up to 5,000 words. Our emphasis is literary fiction, however we will give consideration to any piece, provided that it is of sufficient quality. Poetry: Submit up to five poems, each as an individual attachment. Include your name and contact information with each piece. Art and photography: Submit up to five pieces, each as an individual attachment. We strongly prefer .tif files, although .gif and .jpg are acceptable. Please format file names as firstname_lastname_titleofpiece. We accept an array of styles, and are particularly open with our photography submissions, however, we are not interested in science fiction, fantasy, or anime inspired work. We also do not accept photo essays. You may include a 50 word art statement with your submissions.

Writer's Resource

Last Update: 2025-11-27

September 1994 to Present Writer’s Resource works with authors, public speakers, thought leaders and small presses to ghostwrite, rewrite and edit fiction and nonfiction; market books, speaking engagements and products; and branding at every step. One of the most important benefits is Laine’s ability to convey the core message in a clear way. Two decades of experience writing fiction and nonfiction books, pitching projects to agents and publishers, and reaching readers through effective marketing have boosted the careers of traditionally published and indie authors. Clients working with adult as well as juvenile texts from children’s picture books through young adult novels have found success with Laine’s support. Results: Currently, 47 titles are under contract with agents or publishers. Books handled by Writer’s Resource have gone on to win 10 national awards, and indie authors have sold nearly 50K copies using Laine’s marketing ideas. Nonfiction clients have had their ghostwritten projects financially sponsored by Fortune 500 companies, and endorsed by CEOs and celebrities. Fiction clients have been shopped to Disney and Pixar, received contracts for long-running series, and been placed in libraries and schools nationwide. From creation to contract...and beyond.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
