We create a paradigm shift in the way people think about #peace. The official account of the Institute for Economics & Peace. We use data driven research to show that peace is a positive, tangible and achievable measure of human well-being and development. IEP is the world’s leading think tank dedicated to developing metrics to analyse peace and to quantify its economic value. It does this by developing global and national indices, calculating the economic cost of violence, analysing country level risk and understanding Positive Peace. IEP aims to empower the academic community, civil society, private sector, international institutions and governments with the knowledge to proactively use peace to achieve their desired goals. We conduct research and education, generate dialogue, and publicise the output of ouractivities with a view to impact the public agenda. We work in partnership with other stakeholders interested in creating peace including academic institutions, business, governments, NGOs and peace institutes. The Global Peace Index is a core asset of IEP. The Institute for Economics & Peace is non-partisan. It enjoys and welcomes association with other institutions that share similar goals. We have offices in Sydney, New York, Brussels, The Hague, Mexico City and Harare. For our latest peace research, data, indices and news, visit http://visionofhumanity.org/.

Founded in 1985, the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) has become a leading organization in promoting environmentally sustainable and equitable transportation policies and projects worldwide. ITDP was created by sustainable transport advocates in the U.S. to counteract the export to developing countries of costly and environmentally damaging models of dependence on the private automobile. ITDP focuses on working with municipalities and non-governmental organizations in developing countries to implement projects that show how air pollution, carbon emissions, traffic congestion and accidents can be reduced, or how the basic mobility of the poor can be improved. ITDP primarily focuses on work in the following program areas: * Developing high-quality, low-cost mass transit * Planning and advocacy for cycling and walking * Strengthening the bicycle and rickshaw industries * Revitalizing city centers * Bridging distances: transport for healthcare * Managing traffic demand * Building institutional capacity to plan for and implement sustainable low-carbon transportation * Developing financing tools and incentives to improve transportation system performance and cut GHGs Our projects build local knowledge and skills while generating greater public awareness of viable sustainable transport solutions. They are also used to leverage additional resources from international development institutions, inspire these institutions to change their own priorities, encourage private sector participation, and encourage more participatory and transparent decision-making. ITDP is supported by a wide array of partners, working most closely with Climate Works and the Clinton Climate Initiative.

Description

Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps. Prior to 2.0.3, Function api.ParseJSONRequest currently splits (via a call to strings.Split) an optionally-provided OID (which is untrusted data) on periods. Similarly, function api.getContentType splits the Content-Type header (which is also untrusted data) on an application string. As a result, in the face of a malicious request with either an excessively long OID in the payload containing many period characters or a malformed Content-Type header, a call to api.ParseJSONRequest or api.getContentType incurs allocations of O(n) bytes (where n stands for the length of the function's argument). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.3.

Description

Monkeytype is a minimalistic and customizable typing test. In 25.49.0 and earlier, there is improper handling of user input which allows an attacker to execute malicious javascript on anyone viewing a malicious quote submission. quote.text and quote.source are user input, and they're inserted straight into the DOM. If they contain HTML tags, they will be rendered (after some escaping using quotes and textarea tags).

Description

Taiko Alethia is an Ethereum-equivalent, permissionless, based rollup designed to scale Ethereum without compromising its fundamental properties. In 2.3.1 and earlier, TaikoInbox._verifyBatches (packages/protocol/contracts/layer1/based/TaikoInbox.sol:627-678) advanced the local tid to whatever transition matched the current blockHash before knowing whether that batch would actually be verified. When the loop later broke (e.g., cooldown window not yet passed or transition invalidated), the function still wrote that newer tid into batches[lastVerifiedBatchId].verifiedTransitionId after decrementing batchId. Result: the last verified batch could end up pointing at a transition index from the next batch (often zeroed), corrupting the verified chain pointer.
