Imperial Theatre is an 874 seat proscenium Theatre located in Saint John New Brunswick on Canada’s East Coast. Originally opening in 1913, Imperial Theatre is hailed as the most beautiful restored theatre in Canada. Since the grand re-opening, Imperial Theatre is Saint John’s premier performance space. Imperial Theatre’s mandate is to “enrich, engage and inspire our community through the performing arts.” Programming choices are based on assessment of past and current seasons, including criteria such as artistic excellence, presentation of varied genres and cultures, ticket sales, opportunities for engagement activities and balancing familiar work with challenges. Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) statement pledges that at our gatherings, we will treat each other with respect and dignity, regardless of age, race, gender, social class and sexual orientation. Lyric Theatre Company is a non-profit, volunteer community theatre organization located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. Over 400 members volunteer their time and talent each year both on stage and off. The size of our membership together with the size and scope of our bi-annual productions ranks us as one of the largest amateur theater companies in the United States. Lyric puts on two mainstage musicals each year at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, reaching an audience of over 10,000 annually. As well as its mainstage productions, Lyric runs a summer camp program (Lyric Kids), a senior education program, and other community outreach activities.
