IEEE at UCSD is a pre-professional organization which provides engineering students with the resources and extracurricular experiences to help them achieve their true potential as they develop into professional engineers. We are one of the largest student branches in the country! We host several annual team projects as well as over 60 events and competitions for our student members, including huge annual competitions: California Micromouse Competition (CAMM) and Grand PrIEEE. As an organization, we strive to provide opportunities to students both at UC San Diego and in the larger STEM community to gain hands-on experience with autonomous robotics and its various disciplines. Throughout the year, we host dozens of events and workshops to teach skills not frequently taught in the classroom, as well as outreach events for students looking to give back to the STEM community.

The Asian American Resource Center (AARC) opened its doors in 1997, when Reverend Dr. Henry Lee recognized a dire need for social and educational services among the Asian American immigrant populations in Georgia. Since then, the nonprofit has grown to provide a multitude of services to a larger population, including housing assistance and life skills training for the homeless as well as English/GED courses for immigrants, among other services.
