Highland-Clarksburg Hospital is a private, non-profit hospital that is dedicated to providing the best care for persons with mental disorders. It has established an integrated system of high quality behavioral health services, including mental health treatment services for Children, Adolescents’ and Forensic patients. The Hospital is relatively new as a psychiatric facility that began taking patients in August 2013; however it was formerly the site of United Hospital Center, primarily a medical hospital, whose location is within the Heart of the Mountain State of West Virginia. The hospital is growing and continues to grow and expand our clinical programs and community initiatives every year. Utilizing a new and modern mental health care facility, with unique psychiatric hospital construction upgrades and installation of new, cutting edge, security measures, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital has developed a state-of-the-art mental health facility as its clinical core for treatment, education and service activities.
