Design and sustainability pioneers Marie Cudennec Carlisle and Oliver Waddington-Ball opened the doors to Goldfinger at the foot of Trellick Tower in 2013. Named after Ernö Goldfinger — the infamous architect of our Grade II listed Brutalist home and inspiration for Ian Fleming’s notorious Bond villain — Goldfinger founders decided to take its literal meaning as guiding inspiration: ‘the material we touch, we turn to gold’. Goldfinger is a social enterprise that creates sustainable furniture and objects. Since its launch, Goldfinger has partnered with brands such as Tom Dixon, Arup, John Lewis and Whistles, as a well as independent brands and artists who share their ethos. The Goldfinger Academy is the teaching arm of Goldfinger and offers courses in sustainable woodworking and craft, to educate people of all ages and backgrounds, from curious beginners to aspiring artisans. This includes fee-paying workshops, subsidised community workshops, and an apprenticeship programme for NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Everything they do is guided by our passion for the circular economy and an inclusive community. Goldfinger was nominated for the Social Enterprise Firm of the Year 2019 at the Evening Standard Business Awards; CEO and co-founder Marie Cudennec Carlisle was nominated for the Natwest Everywoman Awards 2020.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
