We’re not the only company refurbishing Cisco kit. We know that. That’s why we are obsessed (it’s really not too strong a word) with being the company that does it best. “Attention to detail” doesn’t really cover it. We’re the nit-pickers of the network device redeployment world. The fine-tooth combers and haystack needle finders of the refurbished Cisco market. Everything we do is checked and rechecked, to the umpteenth degree. We’re delighted, then, but not surprised, when customers tell us that our equipment is the best they can get. Because that’s exactly what we’re aiming for. And we’ve got seriously good at it, through unparalleled product knowledge, vast experience with today’s networks, and to-the-millimetre attention to detail, at every stage. No challenge is too great for us to tackle, no configuration puzzle too complex. Every member of our customer-facing team is a Cisco expert, so whoever you speak to, they’ll know what they’re talking about. Try us for yourself. Contact us here, by email or phone and tell us what you need.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
