We are a small performing arts group but have a stable of 40-50 drummers in our dojo (studio), at various stages of development, that join us in festivals. The members of Fushicho Daiko, in addition to Esther are: Eileen Morgan, senior member, Ken Koshio a Folk/Rock singer from Nagoya, Japan, and Marsha Robb. All of Esther's training was in Japan between 1986 and 1992 and since 2000, every summer there. Ken also studies and performs in Japan each summer and on several occasions Eileen and Marsha as well. Three of the members teach taiko, music, and culture in schools, in addition to school and public performances.
