FotoDocument is a unique arts education social enterprise that brings visibility to positive social and environmental initiatives around the world through visual storytelling. At FotoDocument we believe in the power of visual imagery as an effective communication tool to harness public attention and engage people in powerful storylines, which create a sense of active global citizenship. We run four services for our clients: FotoStory creates dynamic photo essays, videography & animation for business, NGOs & public service to showcase positive social & environmental stories. Clients include CARE International, BNP Paribas, Bioregional, Southlands Hospital, Isle of Wight Council, Elite Fine Foods; FotoSchool delivers educational photography workshops which foster critical thinking & visual literacy. Clients include City Hall London, Grace Academy Solihull, Stonebridge Primary School London; FotoAward is an international documentary photography award for women, supported by Nikon, focusing on positive impact. FotoAgency is a photography agency, where profits are reinvested into the business and clients include Common Purpose, UnLtd, SE Assist, The Great Escape. FotoDocument was founded by photographer/curator Nina Emett in 2012. In 2015, FotoDocument won a PEA (People Environment Achievement) Award for their acclaimed "One Planet City" sustainability project.
