We are the publishers of Executive Intelligence Review, founded by statesman and physical economist Lyndon LaRouche, and other publications. Our current mission is the successful integration of the United States into the BRICS process of increasing strategic collaboration among nations promoting the necessary scientific, technological, and economic developments required to move mankind into the age of thermonuclear fusion power, increasing mankind’s mastery of the principles and processes governing our solar system and beyond. Our latest publication, The New Silk Road Becomes The World Land-Bridge, released Dec. 1, 2014, is a book-length report on the breathtaking and potentially world-history-changing economic development projects the BRICS nations have already initiated - a process which brings mankind one giant step closer to the 'community of principle of sovereign nation-states' envisioned by our founding fathers and our greatest leaders since.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
