The Bridges program and Newmeadow have become legendary for their success. With the high percentage of children who move on to attend kindergarten, the school reflects the early ground breaking results of Ivar Lovaas at UCLA where 48% of the children with autism went on to kindergarten. Every child who attends Newmeadow becomes more prepared for life. Newmeadow accepts every child with autism as space allows. All of the children with ASD are medically diagnosed, and many have little or no language. The majority leave prepared for public school. In 2012, Newmeadow awarded its annual college scholarship to one of the its former graduates who ranked 40 out of 400 in his high school class. This young man, who will attend a very competitive private college, remembers Newmeadow, and his parents give the school and the Bridges ABA program credit for who he has become. The Dad feared his son might “end up in an institution” but now is one of many young people leading a successful life thanks to great parents and a powerful ABA program. With the combination of the Bridges ABA program package, videos, workbook and software, this amazing program, and the tools it provides, are now available for teachers and parents everywhere. More information is available throughout this website and via Educational Models, Inc. and at 1-888-222-8273. Newmeadow invites you to visit the school in upstate New York and experience the Bridges ABA program directly. Call 1-518-899-9235 for a tour. Please tell us your connection to autism.
