ECHO REVIEW is a literary magazine devoted to history. Founded in 2023, we welcome all literature that nods to the past in some way. We aren't picky about what your words may be dedicated to, be it a past relative or the Napoleonic Wars. We simply want words that look over their shoulders at the past, and at the path that has been carved along the way.

Color Our Town

Last Update: 2025-11-25

The brains behind Color Our Town is Jake Rose, a lifelong resident of New York City and a recent graduate of Drew University, where he majored in history and minored in American studies. Through his passion for architecture and photography, Jake was inspired to create the Color Our Town series of coloring books depicting the beauty and unique character of neighborhoods and small towns across America through their recognizable locales and historic landmarks. What makes the Color Our Town series so unique is the collaboration with artists from around the world using Jake’s own photographs that are translated into exquisite line drawings, each accompanied by Jake's in-depth historical descriptions. With Jake's seventh book, Color NYC Museums, Jake takes you on a grand tour of museums that you already know, might know, and probably ones you never heard of. Books already published include Color Greenport, Color Riverhead, Color Northfork, Color Sag Harbor, Color Upper East Side, and Color Upper West Side. The journey continues in 2018 as he plans on pursuing his journey through the United States, with the next stops including Brooklyn, NY & Miami, Florida.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
