Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers of Ohio (DTAC) formerly known as Hittle House, is a leading provider of specialized mental health residential treatment programs for children and adolescents. Building upon a legacy of compassionate and effective care, DTAC of Ohio offers tailored, trauma-informed services for male youth ages 8-18 who have complex mental health, behavioral challenges, and histories of trauma or problematic sexual behaviors. DTAC of Ohio operates distinct residential programs, each deeply rooted in evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TFCBT), and comprehensive sex offender-specific treatment protocols. Our multidisciplinary teams, led by licensed and nationally certified mental health professionals, provide individualized care plans emphasizing safety, resilience, emotional regulation, family engagement, and successful community reintegration. Licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and certified by the Ohio Department of Youth Services, DTAC of Ohio is committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Our programs feature intensive individual and group therapy, educational support in partnership with Westwood Preparatory Academy, and holistic therapeutic modalities including martial arts, yoga, recreational therapy, and volunteer opportunities.
