DLC offers a variety of programs that appeal to people of different ages and interests. Young children are introduced to the performing arts in our preschool and beginning acting classes. Children and youth in elementary, middle and high school learn and improve their drama skills as they participate in musical and dramatic productions. Older youth and adults who are ready to make a larger commitment have the opportunity to participate in our audition-only productions. Classes and private lessons are available for people of all ages. The DLC facility includes a 120-seat theatre, a separate rehearsal room, a box office and multiple dressing rooms in the backstage area. The fully-equipped theatre includes stage lighting and sound systems. Storage areas house an extensive inventory of costumes, props and set pieces. DLC also conducts programs at off-site locations. Through partnerships with schools and PTA organizations, DLC offers programs in many local elementary and middle schools. For more than 20 years we have brought the magic of the stage to people of all ages. We remain committed to helping others discover the excitement of the stage while discovering the magic within themselves.
