DMI Associates - A Chemonics Company
DMI is an independent French company, specialised in public policies, in economic development, in the reform of judicial institutions, and the strengthening of institutional capacities for a better governance. Created in 1997 and established in Lyon, it offers a wide range of sustainable solutions for an economic, political and social development in an increased globalised world. Since its creation, DMI has conducted 180 missions in more than 50 countries. It has gained a reputation of efficiency and excellence in designing, drafting and implementing projects in developing countries or in transition countries, through customised services, and an inovative and paticipative approach to development issues, in line with the expressed needs of institutional beneficiaries, the private sector, and civil society. DMI has gained a global experience in economic development, as well as the capacity to mobilise a number of local and international experts to deal with institutional stakeholders, in Europe or through the world. It is in dealing with local practices and state of mind that sustainable solutions can be proposed; DMI offers advice and provides transfert of know-how more than it imposes ready made solutions. To participate into the XXIth century emerging markets, DMI has opened offices in China, Kazakhstan, Côte d'Ivoire and Tunisia, as a way to assist in the development of international trade, and of foreign direct investments.
