Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, located in College Park on the northwest side of Indianapolis, has been serving up exceptional live entertainment since 1973. The name is derived from the delicious hand carved roast beef served before the performances, and "Boards" refers to the "boards" or stage of a theatre. Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre entertains more than 150,000 theatergoers annually. Each season includes professional Broadway musicals and plays, preceded with a dinner buffet prepared by its in-house chef. Full bar service and gourmet desserts are also available. Each spring and fall, the resident Pyramid Players present acclaimed children's theatre productions as part of the Live Theatre for Kids series.
