After 81 years as a family-owned media company, RamsayMedia joined the Caxton stable as an independent subsidiary in March 2014. Already a shareholder for several years, Caxton and CTP Printers and Publishers became outright owners of the highly regarded company, paving the way for the retirement of chairman Alan Ramsay at the age of 71. Over time, the company – dedicated market-leading, special interest publishers – expanded from a stable of dominant magazine brands into a true multi-platform enterprise with a vast array of digital and mobile opportunities, events, exhibitions, an audiovisual production division and a variety of related media channels. At present, the company’s versatile portfolio embraces the automotive, travel, science and technology, sport and lifestyle markets – and competes in all three primary publishing categories: customer, consumer and business to business (B2B.) In all instances, these titles bear the hallmark of RamsayMedia: contemporary design and entertaining editorial of the highest quality, creating a powerful bond with readers, viewers and visitors. In 2008, the company was rebranded from Ramsay Son & Parker to RamsayMedia, reflecting the natural evolution of a media company rising to the challenge of a changing landscape – and coinciding with an investment in the company by CTP Caxton. With a reputation for excellence and a legacy of satisfied business partners, clients and readers, RamsayMedia is the leading choice in specialist publishing.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
