The Corn Exchange Newbury Trust manages three key venues in the South East of England; the Corn Exchange which includes a 400 seat auditorium, a 40 seat independent cinema and thriving Kitchen and Bar; 101, our dedicated Outdoor Arts Creation Space for the development and production of large-scale outdoor performance; and the new Learning Centre, home to our varied 'Get Involved'​ participation programme and Youth Theatre. Across our venues we present a mixed programme of theatre, dance, comedy, music, film, family work and outdoor work. Our emphasis is on presenting great shows and films that audiences really want to come and see - last year over 112,000 people attended our events. Getting local people engaged with our creative activities lies at the heart of what we do. We have over 140 volunteers who give their time and energy to make our work possible and as well our live performances we run a huge programme of community workshops, youth groups and events.
