Founded in 2002, Cahaba Media Group is a growing company with an entrepreneurial mindset. We publish trade magazines, websites and e-newsletters that are leaders in their respective industries. We hire the best people, we work hard and we value integrity over everything else. We are keenly focused on engaging our audiences and connecting them to our customers through exceptional products and services. We believe that a good work-life balance is critical to long-term success. The phrase “A Great Place To Work” is more than a catchphrase for our company. It is printed on the wall of our conference room, surrounded by a collection of phrases that, together, reflect the intentionally managed, values-based company culture that is critically important to us. VALUES & PRINCIPLES At Cahaba Media Group, our first and most important value is INTEGRITY. We are honest, we do the right thing and you can count on us to honor our commitments. We believe that our reputation—as individuals and as an organization—is our most valuable asset, and we work every day to improve it. We value honesty and treating people right more than we value profits. We endeavor to treat our customers and vendors with respect. We seek accounts and relationships—not just orders. We only want customers who receive value from doing business with us. We produce products for our readers that are designed to be imminently practical, timely and readable. This builds loyal readership, which our advertisers greatly appreciate. Each of our brands has an Editorial Advisory Board made up of well-respected, knowledgeable experts in that brand’s industry. These professionals work with our editorial teams to ensure that our content is always relevant and useful to its audience. We seek to be good customers and treat our vendors as we would want them to treat us. We play fair. We are honest with our requirements and feedback and we pay our bills on time.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
