CentrePointe Counseling is creating a ripple of change across our community by providing access to affordable, professional, compassionate counseling in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia to men, women, adolescents, and children. We believe counseling is the “center point” at which mental wellness begins. As someone begins to heal, it creates a ripple effect. Healthy individuals lead to healthy couples, healthy families, healthy churches and schools, and ultimately a healthy community. Our licensed counselors work with individuals, couples, families, and organizations to help them improve relationships, deal with emotional struggles, negotiate life transitions, and find meaning from the center of their life. Healthy functioning is supported through counseling that treats body, mind, and soul. We believe there is an important spiritual dimension to the counseling process that should not be minimized. At the same time, we believe it is important not to ignore scientific advances in the understanding of biological and psychological human functioning.
