Welcome to Beck. Established in 1976, we continue to grow from strength to strength by putting our customer’s needs first and providing sustainable solutions on-time, every time. Our brands Proguard and Treeplanta provide industry-leading temporary protection products and specialist bags to customers worldwide. We can trace our origins back to 1976 when as a young salesman selling packaging to stores and merchants, Ralph Dupont came across what was then an innovative new product… recycled refuse sacks. Not only was a refuse sack a novel idea but the idea of using recycled plastic for this purpose had strong appeal, with the result that Beck Sack company was formed concentrating on selling not only refuse sacks but builders rubble sacks - both made largely of recycled material. With these products, Beck grew substantially until a move was made to Hereford, where larger premises enabled expanding into supplying temporary protection materials, particularly aimed at the building and refurbishment industries. Once again, use of recycled material was to the fore in the black “Correx®” sheeting, a primary protection product that we supply. The launch in 2010 of the now well recognised Proguard® brand, along with new purpose-built premises in the Hereford Enterprise zone, has enabled the company to expand greatly and to offer a whole spectrum of temporary protection products while keeping our “green” credentials in mind.
