Bath Festivals brings leading international performers, writers and thinkers to Bath to inspire, entertain and challenge audiences of all ages and artistic tastes. Our two main festivals, The Bath Festival and Bath Children's Literature Festival, occur in the summer and early autumn respectively. The Bath Festival is a multi-arts festival, that celebrates the city with music and literature at its heart, engaging with the wider community and bringing the streets of Bath to life. Bath Children’s Literature Festival, the largest dedicated children’s literature festival in Europe, always offers a vibrant array of talks and activities for children with a dedicated young adult (YA) programme. Our festivals champion diversity and collaboration, open people’s minds, and showcase the work of both established and up-and-coming performers – all in the special setting that is Bath, a World Heritage Site, and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We provide year-round learning and participation opportunities for children, young people and adults through creative workshops, gigs, master classes and competitions.
