AugThat - Interactive Augmented Learning
Student engagement is critical to positive learning outcomes. AugThat was created with over 18 years’ experience within the educational system. In 2013 the company began from a Tutoring Center which infused technology to students as well as provided rigorous differentiated instruction to children throughout Monmouth County, New Jersey. AugThat began creating and developing their own technologies as well as curriculum that enhanced the learning process. Our mission is to provide an engaging, meaningful, and technological experience for learning that will differentiate instruction and drive student success. AugThat has developed an application that infuses Augmented Reality into real world learning. Our app delivers 3D models, 360-degree virtual environments and activity sheets with animated lessons – all presented via smart devices. AugThat created the first of its kind AR platform, which has been implemented in 260 schools across 36 states in the U.S. and other countries. The company possesses the largest library of AR assets for education. Our campaign “Reach 1 Million Students” has helped drive over 30,000 teacher downloads and an implied reach of 1,000,000+ students after 7 months. AugThat has also aligned with strategic partners to bundle our product, including a national assessment company, to enhance the learning environment of their products. We have signed with the Texas Department of Education for the deaf, and were recently highlighted in EdSurge as one of the best AR apps for education. AugThat is recognized as a leader in AR in education, an exciting emerging area that can dramatically enhance student outcomes.
