
Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts
An arts centre in a beautifully refurbished historic Grade II* listed building (designed by Sir Basil Spence) on the University of Sussex campus, near Brighton. The centre presents a multi-disciplinary programme of music, dance, performance, film, installation, discussion and debate. The public programme is presented in partnership and collaboration with festivals including Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, CINECITY (film festival) and The Dreamy Place (formerly Brighton Digital Festival) and local organisations including The Marlborough Productions and South East Dance. Brighton People's Theatre are an associate company. Alongside this, the centre hosts a variety of summer schools and research and development residencies for artists.
