Moose Hall Theatre (MHTC) is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit company. Our mandate is one of cultural inclusion. Our aim is to provide performance opportunities for professional performing artists of various cultures and origins, particularly for those who would not otherwise have an opportunity to participate in contemporary or classical productions. Entering our 18th season, we are bringing our unique vision and approach to the greater NYC community with DRACULA! THE TALE OF FLESH & BOOD Oct. 11-29, 2017 at the historic 13th Street Repertory Theatre Company, 50 West 13th St. NYC 10011 (Horror, Halloween Season, Greenwich Village!) Moose Hall Theatre Company in producing the Inwood Shakespeare Festival in partnership with City of New York/Parks & Recreation each summer for 17 years, playing a crucial role in the vitality of our community with pioneer productions accessible FREE public programs of theatre & music in Inwood Hill Park Peninsula, bringing together over 47,000 audience members of all ages and cultures from our wonderful communities of Inwood, Washington Heights, Harlem & beyond. The Inwood Shakespeare Festival was conceived and developed by Ted Minos as a way to bring FREE professional theatre & music to the Northern Manhattan community. Moose Hall Theatre Company is honored to produce and develop the Inwood Shakespeare Festival for the wonderful community of Inwood, Washington Heights, Harlem & beyond! Friday, August 4, 2000. William Shakespeare's 12th Night was performed in Inwood Hill Park Peninsula, inaugurating the Inwood Shakespeare Festival. The beginning of a new company and the beginning of a new era in the performing arts, leading the way for Northern Manhattan residents and future Arts organizations to the next Public Renaissance of Culture.
