Advisory Board for the Arts aspires to radically transform how arts organizations manage their toughest problems and biggest opportunities by creating an unprecedented, worldwide, shared-learning network for the arts using proven, unique, out-of-industry methodologies. Advisory Board for the Arts is the first global company to provide strategic advisory services dedicated to the leaders of arts organizations worldwide. Our team has adapted a proven methodology with a 40-year track record of success in three other industries to the unique requirements of arts organizations, combining best practices research, rigorous data analyses, and traditional consulting techniques. For arts leadership, we become your long-term partner, helping you to solve your most complex problems and capture your greatest opportunities. We become an extension of your staff, working together to implement your chosen strategies and reach your goals. The network will build upon a foundational Charter Cohort to include hundreds of arts organizations worldwide, from dance companies to museums, historic sites, opera, theatre, symphony orchestras, performing arts centers, and more. We will find answers to your organization’s unanswered—even unasked—questions by leveraging the power of the shared-learning network to find unexpected and often counter-intuitive data, strategies, insights, tools, and solutions that will break through stagnant methodologies. The Advisory Board for the Arts will launch July 1, 2019, with a Charter Cohort of a limited number of arts organizations worldwide, identified as early adopters—pioneers eager to embrace a completely new approach to help them reach their goals.
